We stopped by The Cassia restaurant without a reservation and were seated right away, which was a nice surprise. The atmosphere had the feel of an old American style estate, with a quiet and slightly formal vibe. While the setting was pleasant, the food was just passable, nothing especially memorable. Still, it was an enjoyable visit and worth checking out if you are in the area.

Wow amazing this fine restaurant was much more than we expected. Every detail was over the top. After dinner we had the best time just chilling with the piano player. Who "played every song Bobby knew".

Had the Crocodile Crumble and Ostrich filet. Enjoyed them both having never eaten any of them. The croc was crab cake like and the ostrich is like a steak. They pair them beautifully with other accompaniments and it tastes wonderful. Be adventurous and enjoy the food. The service can be relaxed and the piano player was fantastic. So just enjoy your time and the atmosphere.

Great food and lovely service. You have the option to sit on the terrace you will be able to hear the waterfall. You get to choose from a nice variety of African animals for dinner, and there is a large selection available to choose from for breakfast.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was absolutely amazing every dish full of flavour and beautifully presented. Tatenda was an outstanding waiter, full of energy and warmth, and really made us feel welcome. Miles is an incredibly talented musician, and his live performance, including our song requests, made the evening truly special. I honestly couldn’t fault this place. Highly recommended!

I loved the piano player, who set the relaxed mood for the evening. Service was impeccable - not hovering, but nicely attentive. Food was delicious - our starter of pork belly was just the right amount with beautifully complementary garnishes (sometimes there's just way too much fat); my husband's main was melt in your mouth ostrich, while my impala shank was perfectly cooked, but the gaminess bothered me a little; and our desserts (which we almost never order) were perfect in amount and taste - cherry pie, and truffles. The wine list was extensive and fairly priced. Excellent meal!

The staff is excellent. The food didn't disappoint, highly recommend the ostrich steak, tempura hake, and the cheesecake with coconut ice cream! I also had the sous vide chicken which was pleasant, but the risotto it sat atop was amazing.
